Best promos/backstage segments etc.

Cactus Jack v Terry Funk Promo - Guns 'N Roses

I posted this video in the HTGTH Wrestling thread but figured I'd start a thread about the best promos or interviews or backstage segments (comedy or otherwise). Basically, the best non-wrestling wrestling moments. Yeah.

The one above I posted because GNR get mentioned, but the 'Cane Dewey' promo is probably Foley's best one.

Cactus Jack - Promo {Cane Dewey}

And I was gonna post the unedited version of the DX 'Presidential Speech' thing, but youtube has suddenly gone down for maintenance....

(I also realise that the two Foley promos aren't from WWE but I didn't know where else to post it ;))

Defunct promotions that WWE now owns, WCW, ECW and other tape library stuff fit nicely in this section so its all good.

That Foley - Guns N' Roses one is FANTASTIC!  The whole Axl-Izzy analogy.  Foley really was superb, I need to delve into his ECW days a bit more.  I always enjoy it when my favourite bands get referenced in wrestling or if they do a theme or have a song on a PPV.  One of my favourite memories is Marty Jannetty emerging out of the crowd to attack HBK wearing a GN'R T-Shirt.

Savage always delivers with promos!  I was trying to find one where he says he is OCD....

....One Cool Dude.  But I can't seem to be able to.

I remembered watching this on TV and absolutely loved it. It was great because as Michael Cole would say; "This is vintage Shawn Michaels!" It was the first (and only time since) HBK cut a totally heel promo since returning in 2002. Regardless of the fact that the fans in Montreal were like rabid dogs, Shawn took it all in his stride and even his infamous heelish tone of voice returned for one night only. My favourite moment of the promo is when he pauses during his promo and the fans protesting reaches a peak as they're almost at rioting point passionately chanting "WE WANT BRET!"  Shawn answers them in a sarcastic tone:

"You want Bret? Well you're not gonna get Bret because I screwed Bret!"

Fantastic!  :D

This should be compulsory viewing for any upcoming wrestler.

That is a classic, it really is a damn shame he won't be a heel again.  His promos in the failed WWE Version of the nWo were pretty good as well.  Why does the video cut off there though, it misses out him swerving the crowd with Hogan's music to.

In My Opinion the Rock is the best mic guy ever to have graced the ring. Simply brilliant.

Rock/Austin, Rock/Jericho, Rock/HHH all brilliant back and forth promos but the Rock was the best IMO.

I also think that the OLD ECW promos threw up some classics. The Dudleys, Taz, Alfonso on behalf of RVD, Raven & Justin Credible were among my favourites.

HBK can rock the promo too. As most of you know i'm not that big a HBK fan in a business of honor but no one can doubt that he is up there with the promos.
This is how it works, You're young until you're not
You love until you don't, You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry, You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe, Until their dying breath
