« on: January 08, 2010, 06:01:19 pm »
3/ Flintoffs Goodbye to Lords - Three wickets in 10 blistering overs gave Flintoff a set of five in an innings for the first time since the Oval Test of the 2005 series and secured an important lead for England as they marched to urn earning glory. A True Ashes hero in 05 and 09. He scored Runs, Took Important Wickets and even got a vital run-out.

2/ Roger Federer winning Wimbledon - Took him past all others ever to play the sport in terms of Grand Slams wins. An epic match with Andy Roddick in front of the likes of Sampras, Borg, Lever & Agassi. Just an epic moment just weeks after finally winning the French. Its seemed destined!

1/ Usain Bolt's @ The World Championships - Everyone was wondering if he could out-do his own effort in the Olympics... He once again took on the triple threat of 100, 200 and 4 x 100. Cut a long story short he destroyed all the competition and his own World records in the process.

1. Burnley getting promoted to the Premiership despite having the smallest squad and least money in the Championship and being favourites for relegation.

2. UFC 105 in Manchester, the event that finally showed UK MMA Fighters could hold their own with the best.

2005 Champions Leage final - Liverpool down 3-0 at half time with no one ever turning that around in a major final...

3 goals later and a shootout later - Liverpool had done it

winning the Champions League is pretty special but to do it in that way - wasn't just a great match, was a great story
