Very disappointed in the Kofi/Bourne match

I had such high hopes but they need to learn to slow down. match was sloppy as hell.

I hope one of those tards from Jackass is never the guest host.

Anyway, place your bets, how long will this 'celebrity host' business continue until they end it/keep it confined to wrestling-only people??

Hard to say, many Z-Listers who are happy to do it.

I'm still holding out for Randy Savage.

As weird as it sounds, this Seth Green thing has me slightly curious. Enough so to maybe stay up and watch Raw live.

RAW was poor last night, aside from Jericho's promo and Swagger cleanly beating MVP there was nothing else decent.

WWE has spent years slowly, half heartedly building a credible women's division

the girls can now (just) wrestle - which is a huge improvement over years gone by

...but then some bikini match?

I just have to wonder at the booking...

AND WHY IS JERICHO ON RAW AGAIN?!

Having a guest host does not work when they are all reading from a script - poor guys look terrified of saying the wrong line

...why not actually let them book matches - see what daft stuff they come up with? Horsnwoggle vs Kane in a HIAC!

Sure, thats an extreme example - but it would keep the audience off balance - we all know who wins each match, its so calculated

Now is the perfect time for a Triple H/Shawn Michaels NWO takeover to sweep away the predictability - fair enough have it PG, but you can do so much more

Jericho as Unified Tag Champ can appear on all 3 shows, that works for me, dude is quality after all.

Green coming out to Welcome to the Jungle, wahey!

ZZ Top as guest hosts next week?  Vince needs to get with the times!

Triple H has probably begged Lemmy to be a guest host.

Triple H: Hey Lemmy, would you like to come on Raw, raise some hell with me, you get to host the show.
Lemmy: **** off.

You never know he could show up the week after.

Maybe someone in creative came up with a return angle for Mike Knox and it involves him switching brands again and aligning with ZZ Top.

Funny thing about RAW is we knock Mark Henry's ability but the dude at the end of the match had the crowd in the palm of his hand, although crowd reactions were quite good, I was surprised at the "Primo" chant, I thought he'd be more a hear a pin drop kind of guy.

WWE had the crowd in the palm of it's hand this week on Raw, not Mark Henry. The fans in attendance were being a perfectly behaved audience. The faces were cheered, the heels were boo'ed and the face celebrity guest was cheered a lot. Heck, the crowd was behind Cena and Seth Green 100%. This is only gonna feed Vince's ego and assure him and his writers that he's doing everything right and he's not 'stuck in the past' that many of his critics claim. Reality is, the reason why they probably got such good reactions was because fans in Orlando aren't picky in the least, afterall the majority of the audience was likely tourists. The same kind of tourists who attend the TNA tapings in Universal Studios every month.

I actually think Seth Green did alright on Raw. I don't know whether it was the crowd or what, but it definitely could have come across a lot worse.

I wonder how ZZ Top will go down. Perhaps it would have made more sense if the show was in Texas.....

Here's an interview with ZZ Top from wwe.com ahead of RAW tonight...

Expect fur adorned guitars and chin locks of a different kind on what could very well be the most rhythmic Raw in history this Monday.

Perhaps accompanied by the famed rev of their scarlet red Ford Hot Rod, “The Eliminator,” ZZ Top’s burly bearded Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill roll into Raleigh, N.C., on Monday night to serve as the show’s first-ever special guest co-hosts.

“It’s no secret that ZZ Top is a big fan of WWE,” admitted an enthusiastic Gibbons in an exclusive interview with WWE.com. “When it comes time to addressing what one of our favorite things to do is, besides playing loud rock and roll, it’s watching some wild and raucous shenanigans in the ring.”

Multiple-time Grammy Award nominees, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees and stars behind countless hit songs such as “Gimme All Your Lovin’” and “Legs,” ZZ Top is one of the most globally recognizable rock bands of all time. “That Little Ol’ Band from Texas” is prepared to bring their boogie and blues style to Raw’s squared circle, live in the RBC Center.

“Coming in as a combination is probably not going to be too much different from the way we approach our appearances on the live stage,” said the lead vocalist of his pseudo-tag team with Hill. “We can’t think of anything we like doing better than playing [music], with one exception: Tagging up with WWE.”

The earliest recollection of Gibbons’ squared circle appreciation was birthed – much like himself – in Houston, Texas, where he watched Paul Boesch establish his promotion’s legacy in the Lone Star State.

“[Boesch] is well known and remembered with a recollection of the highest order,” Gibbons explained. “He was genuinely dedicated and a great community leader. People not only looked up to him, but also certainly enjoyed his action in the ring.”

Gibbons’ appreciation extends to this very day, mere months after the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania in his hometown this past April. He and his fellow band members have also been seen on SmackDown and Hollywood’s WrestleMania 21.

“[ZZ Top is] partial to the Texas boys,” he proudly proclaimed. “‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s been a dear friend, and he’s one of the great WWE stars along with Undertaker. Then again, you have Triple H, Big Show, Carlito … the list goes on and on.”

But despite his admiration for a number of ring warriors, Gibbons – in homage to the ZZ Top song of the same name – revealed the one, indisputable “Sharp(est) Dressed Man” of WWE.

“Vince McMahon,” affirmed the rock purist with a vigorous laugh. “He, like ZZ Top, is all about bringing a quality to the show that is unsurpassed – and that goes for his sense of style. He is definitely a well dressed man.”

While he’s sworn to be unbiased when it comes to those on the Raw roster with equally bountiful beards, Gibbons did identify another Monday night personality who just might receive their very own ZZ Top-enhanced entrance theme.

“We could re-write ‘Legs’ for Lilian Garcia,” he joked. “Instead of ‘she’s got legs,’ we would do a special version: ‘I’ve got legs.’”

The full extent of ZZ Top’s plans for their full control of Monday Night Raw remains yet undisclosed, but if their recently kicked-off tour with Aerosmith is any indication, WWE fans should certainly prepare for a change in tempo.

“We’re bringing some good ol’ American rock and roll around the good ol’ U.S. of A. this summer,” said Gibbons, a true “guitar hero.”

He added, “[The WWE Universe] can expect some interesting surprises. We’re going to be on Raw hootin’ and hollerin’ with the rest of the fans. It’s all about having a good time. Rock on!”
