Well the card is starting to take shape now.  I think the best 2 matches potentially are Joe vs. Homicide and British Invasion vs. Beer Money if they are given enough time.

2 X Division matches - and significant matches

Thats a good sign

A TNA match under **** rules is an intresting one...in that you can bat people with chairs in a 'normal' match anyway...

Steel Asylum match :headbanger:

You sure as hell better hope Russo doesn't view the board, he is going to think Steel Asylum sounds Heavy Metal, then see your headbanger smilie and before you know it every competitor will have a rock band playing them to the ring...  :P

Any chance of an AJ Styles cameo in the Steel Asylum match?  Surely he can't be left off the card, I realise he lost on thursday, but still...

a Morgan main event is a good idea...

...but what are they doing to Styles??

I'd love to see him in a rebooted X Division - he could lift its prestige greatly, but whatever they do - Styles should be main eventing it

If TNA leave AJ Styles off any PPV, then when people ask why they won't get as big as WWE.... there is your answer.

On the other hand its great to see Morgan getting a main event spot. He looks the part to me and he is one of maybe 4 or 5 i would like to see in WWE
This is how it works, You're young until you're not

Report by Jason Powell:

1. TNA Asylum match. The wrestlers in the match were Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Amazing Red, Suicide, Jay Lethal, Daniels, Consequences Creed, and D’Angelo Dinero. The audio problem cleared up quickly. Suicide was the final wrestler introduced. A bunch of fog machines went off on the stage and when everything cleared Suicide was standing there.

Dinero (a/k/a Elijah Burke) came to the ring. West said Dinero comes from a long line of street preachers in New York. Tenay noted that Lethal and Frankie Kazarian won the two previous Asylum matches. Nice touch to acknowledge the history of the match. Most of the wrestlers wore gloves for the match to save their hands from wear and tear while climbing the cage.

Fun action early. The live crowd was especially responsive to the Guns’ double team moves. The crowd chanted, “This is awesome,” at 6:00. Daniels and Dinero stood on the top rope and traded punches. Dinero ducked a punch and Daniels struck the cage. Dinero followed up by spearing Daniels off the ropes and onto the mat. Nice spot.

Finish came when Daniels finally made the escape out the top.

Winner: Daniels

Jeremy Borash interviewed Daniels at ringside. He said the winner of the Homicide vs. Samoa Joe title match would lose to him next month. He said said A.J. Styles was at home and dedicated his win to him…

Backstage, Lauren interviewed Matt Morgan, who admitted that he wanted to be in the Main Event Mafia until Kurt Angle used him and never rewarded him. Morgan said he was rewarding himself with the TNA Championship…

An video recapped Dr. Stevie putting a bounty on Abyss’s head…

2. $50,000 Bounty Match: Abyss vs. Jethro Holiday (w/Dr. Stevie).

Abyss defeats Jethro Holiday clean with the Black Hole Slam after Holiday dominated much of the match. After the match, Stevie got in Holiday's face but got taken out.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Kurt Angle, who is once again clean shaven. Borash noted that Morgan indicated it would be every man for himself in the main event. Angle said Morgan is young and hopped up with energy, but he'd be thinking differently after they spoke later in the night...

3. Hernandez beat Rob Terry in five seconds.

Backstage, Lauren interviewed Beer Money. James Storm said no one derailed Beer Money other than Beer Money. Robert Roode said they are going back to doing what they do best, "Makin' Cash and Gettin' Trashed," which just so happens to be the slogan on the back of their new t-shirts...

4. The British Invasion vs. Beer Money for the IWGP Tag Titles.

Eric Young came out wearing a suit and sat in on commentary. British Invasion win when Eric Young interferes, costing Beer Money the match. Beer Money attacks British Invasion and Young after the match.

Backstage, Lauren interviewed ODB and Cody Deaner. Cody said he knew Lauren was wondering what would happen if The Beautiful People tried to **** him. "Sexual harassment is a daily reality for The Deaner," he said. "I can't walk down the street without cougars falling all over me and trying to rip off my shirt. ODB said she'd take the "TNA Knocked Up Title," put lime juice on the belt, and "shine it up on these big monster boobies of mine"...

5. Angelina Love (w/Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne) vs. ODB (w/Cody Deaner).

ODB bullies Love into the corner and throwing some punches. Love fighting back with kicks to the stomach. ODB has Love in a headlock and tags in Cody Deaner. Deaner is smacking Love in the ass while the crowd chants "he's a pervert." Deaner drapes Love's ass across the top turnbuckle and smacks it ten times as the crowd chants "1, 2, 3, 4...etc." ODB and Sky are tagged back in. ODB goes to the top but Madison Rayne distracts her. Beautiful People now in control of the action again. Deaner begging for the tag as the crowd gets back into it. ODB finally makes the tag and Love misses a smack. Deaner grabs her and kisses her. She swings and misses again. Deaner grabs and kisses her again. Final time Deaner grabbed her and made out with her intensely. More make-out spots with Deaner and the Beautiful People. Yawn. Drop toe-hold from Deaner, draping Sky across the ropes, 6-1-9 style. Deaner winds up to approach Ms. Sky from behind. As he closes in, Sky hits him with a low blow kick. ODB attacks Love. Rayne tries to spray Deaner but he ducks and he pins Sky for the three count.

After the match, the ring announcer named ODB the new champion. Deaner stole the belt and said he's the champion since he won. Deaner split and ODB chased after him.

Angelina Love looks pissed and gets in Velvet Sky's face. Sky is wimpering and trying to explain what Rayne did. They both turn and look at Rayne all angry. Lots of lady-yepling going on. Love walks off pissed off.

Lauren is backstage with Taz and Samoa Joe. Taz says tonight isn't about rehashing what happened with Hernandez. Taz says Hernandez didn't beat Joe - Joe beat Joe. Taz says that's irrelevant because tonight is about the X division championship. Taz says Joe is in the zone and he'll leave tonight with the title. Taz says Joe is bringing the belt to the Main Event Mafia and it's happening now. Taz and Joe walk off.

6. Homicide vs. Samoa Joe (w/Taz) for the X Division Title.

Joe dominating the action early on. Lots of back and forth action now. Homicide with several nearfalls. The crowd is slowly getting into this one more and more. Joe out of nowhere gets Homicide in the rear naked choke and gets the victory to become the new X-Division champion.

JB is racing up behind Angle backstage. JB asks where he's going. Angle said he's going into Morgan's locker room. Angle busts into Morgan's dressing room and Morgan yells at him for not knocking. Angle said he apologizes for some of the things he said last week. He asks Morgan if the Main Event Mafia is what he wants. Morgan says he went on national TV and told the world he wanted in. Morgan said it was Angle's decision to make him jump through hoops. He said this is all Angle's fault. Angle says he can't change the past but he can change Morgan's future. Angle said there's a contract waiting for him in the Main Event Mafia and he's only gotta do one last thing. He says he don't have to lay down for him tonight or anything, just work along with Angle tonight. As long as either guy walks out of the match with the title, the Main Event Mafia wins. Morgan makes Angle repeat the sentence where he said as long as either guy walks out with the title. Angle looks happy they made an agreement while Morgan walks off, seemingly not caring at all.

7. Scott Steiner and Booker T (w/Sharmell) vs. Team 3D in a falls count anywhere, no DQ match for the TNA Tag Titles.

Tenay said there were two referees assigned to the match. Steiner and Brother Ray brawled in one part of the building, while Booker and Devon fought in another area.

Steiner stood on a railing and tried to jump onto Ray, but he slipped. Steiner landed on his feet and dove onto Ray anyway. A couple minutes later, Steiner stood on the railing again and dove onto Ray down below. The live crowd popped big for the dive. It was cool to see Steiner take the leap at this point in his career.

"Table" chant breaks out from the crowd again so they set up another one. Booker T book-ends Brother Ray through the table. He pins him but Devon breaks up the count. Steiner attacks Devon from behind and now he and Booker are double-teaming him. Steiner and Booker with a number of close pinfall attempts but they can't put Devon or Brother Ray away. Booker gets caught up in the ropes trying his scissors kick. Devon and Steiner are slugging it out. Devon with a powerslam on Steiner into a pin but only gets two. Devon with a spinebuster on Booker. Devon with a back suplex on Booker. Devon now can't finish off Booker or Steiner either for a three-count. Steiner whips Devon into the ropes and follows in with a clothesline. Out of nowhere, Brother Ray and Devon hit the 3D on Booker T. Devon pins him. Scott Steiner, however, rolls up Brother Ray for a pin at the same time. There is controversy between the two refs now as to who won. The official call: because there is a conflict amongst the refs, both refs will view the replay, NFL challenge style, and review the call. We get a bunch of replays as the refs look into the monitor, complete NFL style. After a few moments we hear that the decision has been made and Scott Steiner and Booker T were awarded the victory.

Backstage, JB is with Mick Foley. He asks his thoughts on tonight's Legends title match. Foley says with the title he picked up more money for pictures from fans. He says he's just joking. Foley takes shots at Kevin Nash being money-hungry and how Foley has pride and respect.

8. Mick Foley vs. Kevin Nash for the TNA Legends Title.

They fought to ringside early. Foley struck Nash with a chair a few times. Foley dove off the ring apron and tried to drop an elbow on Nash on the floor, but Nash held up the chair. Foley came up bleeding heavily from the eye. Looks like 25 (or more) big ones for Foley again this month. Nash threw Foley back in the ring and the match continued.

Foley punching away at Nash as blood spews out of Nash's face now. Both guys bladed heavy for this one. Ref now looking concerned for Nash, pleading for him to stop it. Foley runs knee first into Nash in the corner, knocking the ref out along the way. Foley goes to the floor now and pulls out the barbed-wire bat. Traci comes out to ringside and on the apron. Nash hits Foley with a boot to the head, which knows her off the apron. Nash pins Foley and gets the three count to become the new TNA Legends champion.

After the match, Nash blasts Foley with the barbed wire bat. Abyss' music hits and out he comes with a barbed-wire bat of his own. Nash runs off as Abyss stands in the ring hugging his barbed wire bat. Abyss and Foley embrace as the crowd pops.

Backstage, Sting told Lauren that Matt Morgan is young and will learn from his mistakes just as he did. Sting said Kurt Angle will walk all over people just to take care of himself. Sting said honor, dignity, and respect will come back in style. "And I do mean style," Sting said...

9. Kurt Angle vs. Sting vs. Matt Morgan in a three-way for the TNA Title.

Not much of a reaction for Morgan when he walked out. Big pop for Sting. Angle received boos, but nothing out of the ordinary. He made zero eye contact with the fans until he climbed inside the ring. Jeremy Borash handled the in-ring introductions. Earl Hebner was the referee.

Angle and Morgan worked together to open the match. They whipped Sting into the corner. Morgan hit a shoulder block. Angle went for a shoulder block of his own, but Sting moved and Angle tumbled to ringside. The three men fought at ringside. Morgan was whipped into the guardrail. West pointed out that Morgan was right in front of his wife. Morgan's wife was smiling and patted Morgan on the shoulder.

Crowd chants "You got arrested!" at Angle.

Angle pins Morgan after faking a serious injury to retain the TNA World title.

Very good PPV. I watched the entire thing from beginning to end and most of it was really good

the opening Asylum match was amazing. Steiner/Booker vs 3D was also a great match until they botched the end. Dvon clearly had booker pinned way before Steiner hit the roll up.

Beer Money vs British Invasion another awesome match

Cody Deaner and ODB vs Beautiful People was hilarious

Nash/Foley got bloody as hell

Abyss vs Jethro was the only match I felt was pretty pointless.

Main Event was a great rub for Morgan also as he definitely belongs

Homicide vs Joe was a pretty good match.

Abyss vs Jethro was the only match I felt was pretty pointless.

Erm what about Hernandez vs Big Rob? That was the weakest thing in a LONG time.

Anyway, I thought the PPV was decent.

Opening match was great.

I couldn't really get into both the tag matches for some reason, also the Team 3D match finish was just a disaster.

Womens match was only decent.

Nash/Foley was alright considering there limited capabilities these days.

Main event was missing something for me, plus the finish really was terrible (really why is Hebner still employed? he's just awful). Although I'm glad TNA are pushing Morgan, he has the potential to be a great big man of wrestling. They need to keep him out of the MEM though, that would just ruin any progress he's made.

Homicide vs Joe was pretty forgettable really.

Also one thing I found ridiculous about this PPV is that SIX titles were defended, SIX! TNA have 2 hours of TV a week, yet people complain about WWE have too many titles despite having three times the amount of airtime.

But didn't Daniels winning the match mean he is now feuding with Joe?
